I think Adele and Grace Vanderwaal has a baby, with a chill guitar playing beach loving dude as the uncle, who also heads to the skate park with his vans and then comes and brings flowers to the baby is what Izzie’s voice sounds like. idk who the guitar dude is, BUT- that’s why I’d say. And then Drake FaceTimes sometimes- That’s the collection of sound you find in Izzie’s music! A lil current hip hop mixed with soul vocals yet some pop ukulele with grit YET some also chill beach vibe.

Izzie

Since I was too young to remember, I have been constantly moving from place to place; from Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Virginia, Tennessee, and Austin. While it was, undeniably so, extremely difficult to pick up and go so many times, there's no question that it shaped me into who I am; all of the places I have been have molded me into a stronger and more aware human being. Because I've lived all over, I don't feel like I fit into one place; so many cities, people, and cultures feel like home. This has made traveling to different states and countries so effortless and enjoyable for me to embrace and appreciate each unique place.  The time I spent living in LA was significant because that was the age where I really grasped my own identity. I absolutely thrived in the LA atmosphere. That was an integral part of my life, in that I was completely immersed in diversity. Different backgrounds, religions, and ethnicities exposed me to a kind of acceptance and perspective that not many receive at such a young age. I have always thrived on that though; diverse people intermingling in the same space creates such a unique sense of unity and belonging to me.

One of the biggest passions in my life is creating music. Being able to dig deep into a creative and vulnerable place inside oneself and then portraying ideas into song form is such an engaging and liberating process. I have been writing my own music for years and have been able to create and record with different producers from all over the country. Lyrics and melodies come easily to me and part of the process is so internal and personal.  But collaborating and creating in the studio brings out the deepest and most vulnerable parts of me. I can spend hours upon hours in the studio and never get tired of it, or even notice for that matter; the process is so engaging and makes me so happy. The satisfaction of sitting down at the end of a studio session and witnessing what you and your fellow artists have created together is so amazing. It is one of the only activities that I am deeply passionate about and would be lost without. Throughout the last few years, I've had the opportunity to work with and be mentored by several amazing artists and song writers. I have found people that share my passion and love to create. Every person brings something uniquely special to the process.  These talented people have taught me how to make my lyrics more impactful, how to be more artistic and individualistic when creating my music, and how to spread the messages I want to share through my songs.  I've realized how important it is to stay true to yourself and create goals that will help you become who you want to be. Growing up in music has made me a much more creative, accepting, intuitive, and emotionally driven person. It has also made me aware of the destructiveness of pride, greed, and selfishness. Because of my passion for music, I strive to be as genuine and authentic as possible
